Chaye Benjamin is a writer, spoken word artist, speaker and published author. Born in Washington, D.C., she resides in the Baltimore area with her high school sweetheart, Taurean Benjamin. The two were married in 2005 and together they have two sons and two daughters. Growing up as a preacher’s kid and a Pastor’s granddaughter in the Christian faith, she eventually took on the calling herself and became a licensed minister in 2018.

Chaye has been invited to share her gifts of writing and speaking on platforms large and small - from places of worship, to baby showers and weddings. She uses these gifts to be a light of encouragement to those who feel like they’re lost in the idea of their identity, and those who simply need a pick-me-up. Having been through a lot of unspoken pain in her personal life, she decided to open the pages of her diary, in hopes of saving someone else. So in 2017, Chaye wrote and released her first book, “Undefined: Shattering the False Reflections of Life”. She feels that although there are still some areas where she’s healing in her life, it gives her the heart and drive to encourage people to be strong and live unapologetically!
